We are the only provider in Australia that is independently assessed by the National Medical Advisory Committee (NMAC) to ensure quality clinical processes, protocols and procedures. NMAC also review our doctors’ performance. Our Townsville, Queensland centre is ISO certified. Cost If you have a Medicare card, some of the cost will be covered by Medicare. There is however an out of pocket cost as with most other private medical treatments or day surgery procedures. The cost varies according to a number of factors including the centre you attend; how far along you are in the pregnancy; the type of abortion procedure you choose; and whether you have private health insurance. If you have private health insurance, then you may be covered to an extent under your policy. You should contact your insurer directly for information. |
