Melbourne will host the 20th International AIDS conference from 20-25 July.
This is the first time the conference has been held in Australia, bringing thousands of delegates together from around the world including policy makers, scientists, organisations, media and people living with HIV.
Marie Stopes International is a proud participant at the conference and will hold a couple of conference sessions and auxiliary events throughout the week.
For over 30 years, Marie Stopes International has been delivering contraception, safe abortion, and maternal and child healthcare. We pursue innovative service delivery strategies and partnerships to ensure that women and men everywhere can access high quality reproductive health information and services, including HIV/AIDS counselling, screening and prevention.

The Global Village will host non-government organisations and other stakeholders to present their work around HIV/AIDS. This part of the conference is free and open to the public.
Look out for the International Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Consortium booth, which is where MSI will be positioned (booth 633).
The International Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Consortium is a partnership of key non-government organisations that have come together to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights, including access to abortion, of the most marginalised women, men and young people. The Consortium has a particularly strong focus on advancing the rights of the most marginalised women and girls in the Asia Pacific and Indian Ocean region.
A Consortium member will be on hand to showcase their work relating to HIV/AIDS as well as sexual and reproductive health and rights more generally.
If you are in Melbourne at this time, we hope you will join us at some of our sessions or at the MSI booth in the Global Village.
